remember the married guy?
haven't posted in a while because I haven't dated anyone! :) But I got an interesting email last week from the guy who was actually still married and lied to me about it. Out of the blue he sent me an email and apologized for misleading me and then flipping out on me. He begged for a second chance. I'm very apprehensive. And being the very honest person I am, I told him so. He told me had changed and he was in it to see where it went. blah blah blah. I told him I was busy Monday and Tuesday and going out of town this weekend. Well, suddenly his whole attitude changed. He didn't get passive aggressive like he did before but something changed. He wrote back and simply said "we'll work something out" then didn't hear from him again since. That was Sunday. It is now Wednesday. I emailed him Tuesday around dinner time and told him my plans for this weekend fell through. I have yet to hear back from him. I do not think this will be going anywhere. I read somewhere once upon a time "if you are confused about a guy, then he's not that into you" or something along those lines! Basically it said if you didn't know what was going on and what you were doing, then you should move on. I think I will. In more ways than one... which will be in another post.

ready for another one?
here's another one girls. I was chatting online with this guy in British Columbia. He asked me if I was 'natural'. I assumed he meant did I have any work done. I told him nope, the only thing was I colored my hair brown from blond in the winter. We then got into a discussion of beauty and society's view on beauty. he told me that since I shaved my legs and washed my hair more than twice a week I was a mindless drone influenced by the mass media. I told him I washed my hair more than twice a week because I didn't like my hair all nasty and greasy and I shaved my legs when they got itchy! haha He said it's ok, it's not your fault you have fallen victim to society. What?? dude are you serious?? So instead of me conforming to society's definition of beauty you want me to conform to your definition of beauty?? ugh. he got blocked and can no longer contact me! haha
Friday night date....
Ready for another one? Met this guy and decided to go out. During the course of the date I find out he has a child. I tell him I don't date guys with kids. We get into how there is drama with dating a guy with kids and he tells me his kid is great and there is no drama. And his kid is still 'little'. I tell him there is either drama with the mom or the kid or the dad has guilt so there is no discipline with the child. He tells me his wife is dead so there is no drama there and since his kid is little there is no drama there either. I say, aww I am sorry for your loss. He says, it's ok, it's been a while now. I ask how old his kid is. He says... SEVEN! How is seven 'little'??? To me a 'little' kid is under 2. Is that just me? Anyway, I still maintain I don't want to date and guy with kids so, get this... he tells me "how about I send her to my dads and we start something good?" um, what? I was speechless!! I literally had nothing to say to that!! If I did date guys with kids I would not want to date a guy who would ship his kid off so he could get busy with some girl. He told me he would send her away so we could start a relationship, get married and have kids of our own!!! are you kidding me??? Needless to say, date was over!
Sunday afternoon date
I met this guy on yahoo personals and his profile said 'divorced'. So I assume he's divorced, right? A few days after we start emailing he deletes his profile, should have been a clue... We email for a few days then decide to meet Sunday afternoon and go to some flea markets. We spent a few hours together and had a good time. Good, not great. Monday I find out he's actually married. Find out is the key phrase here. He did not tell me. So I confront him. He gets defensive and starts turning it back around on me. He tells me we didn't go in depth about our past relationships and it wasn't important. Um, what? dude, you are still married. that IS important!!! During the course of the next week he tells me several times to leave him alone then will send me a text message a few hours later. Didn't you just ask me to leave you alone? why are you sending me a text? He also told me I made him feel horrible. You should feel horrible! you lied to me! you mislead me and made me think you were not married when in fact you are still married!! He emailed me the day after he filed for divorce and our date was 7 days after he filed for divorce. On facebook over Valentines weekend he posted 'everyday for the rest of his life would be Valentines Day with the wife'... really??? Sunday afternoon I get a text that reads 'are you never talking to me again?' um... nope! you are unstable and you told me to leave you alone you weirdo! but me being the nice, naive person I am, I answer him back. We have a text conversation. He asks me what I want. I tell him my needs are someone who is stable, honest, direct, ready for a relationship, caring. He asks what my wants are. I tell him if my needs aren't met, then the wants don't matter. He says he doesn't think he is any of those things so he doesn't think he can help me. I say very well. He then gets pissy and passive aggressive! wth?? you said you weren't what needed and you are getting mad at me??? Really? wow. So, moral of the story... don't go out with a guy who's 30, bald, a chemist and lives in LR. he's a little bit unstable! stay tuned for the next adventure!
